Dangerous Goods by Air for Flight Crew Members, Load Planners and Loadmasters (ICAO/IATA Cat. 10) |
Online Dangerous Goods by Air course designed to meet the training requirements in law of Flight Crew members, Load Planners and Loadmasters (staff category 10 as defined in the ICAO Technical Instructions).
The course takes approximately one hour from log in to printing a certificate. It provides the mandatory overview of the regulations and your responsibilities; identification of items classed as dangerous goods accepted or prohibited for carriage by crew, passengers, or in their baggage; Notification to Captain form; and emergency procedures related to dangerous goods.
This course is accepted by the UK Civil Aviation Authority as meeting the requirements for this training.

At the end of the course, there is a multiple choice test which has to be taken in order to receive your certificate. The test is 'open book', i.e. you can refer back to the training modules during the test. The certificate is valid for 2 years (ICAO/IATA regulation) and must be revalidated before the expiry date if the staff member requires a certificate beyond the expiry date.
